Aberdeen Placement Partnership
Set up with the support of Aberdeen City Council, this scheme seeks to help you as an employer to provide work placements for people.
The scheme seeks to:
- Develop a quality assured procedure in work placement, which satisfies legal and health & safety requirements
- Develop a ‘pool’ of employer organisations in the local community who see value in work experience and are willing to accept work placement trainees
- Act as a ‘sounding board’ in the community for quality practice in work placement by providing information and advice on relevant reports, government initiatives and training schemes
- Provide access to training opportunities for employers engaged in work practice
